Drime Essentials Cloud Storage Plan Cuts Lifetime Access Price
Drime has slashed the price of its Essentials cloud storage plan, offering 2TB of cloud space alongside integrated document editing, timestamped comments, and e-signatures for $149.97, down from its regular $299 price tag, Mashable reported. The platform aims to reduce the back-and-forth of file sharing by bringing storage, collaboration, and document tools into a single workspace.
File Size Limits and Cross-Device Synchronization Features
The 2.0 terabytes of storage accommodates large raw photos, videos, and project archives without imposing file size limits on individual uploads, provided users have sufficient space remaining in their account. Subscribers can sync files across compatible desktop and mobile devices, though Intel-based Macs are not currently supported by the desktop app. Shared workspaces support up to 15 team members, and the platform includes 120 days of version history to help users recover earlier file iterations.
Sharing Controls and Feedback Collaboration Tools
When sharing files, users can generate custom links, apply password protection, set expiration dates, and monitor access statistics to maintain control over document availability. For project reviews, Drime supports timestamped comments on both videos and PDFs, allowing reviewers to pinpoint exact moments or sections. Built-in editing tools and Drime Sign for collecting electronic signatures round out the collaboration features included in the Essentials tier.
European Union Hosting and End-to-End Encrypted Vault Security
Security-conscious users can utilize an end-to-end encrypted Vault for sensitive documents, which encrypts files locally so that Drime cannot read their contents. All files are hosted within the European Union.
