Eileen McLaughlin, formerly of Lavery Fold and Templegrove in Derry, passed away peacefully on September 6, 2026, following a short illness surrounded by her loving family, according to local death notices. She was the beloved wife of the late Michael.

The Rosary will be recited on both evenings at 9.30 pm. The wake house will remain private following the Rosary until 12 noon.
The funeral procession will depart from the Greenhaw Manor residence on Wednesday at 9.25 am. A Requiem Mass will follow at 10 o’clock at St Eugene’s Cathedral. Interment will take place afterwards at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery in Inch Island.
