In a significant ruling, Ukraine’s High Anti-Corruption Court has ordered the seizure of assets belonging to former Ukrainian television presenter Yuri Kot. The ruling was made in accordance with Ukraine’s ‘On Sanctions’ Law, at the request of the Ministry of Justice.
The seized assets include:
- Four land parcels located in the Zhytomyr region
- Three units of firearms
- A Skoda Octavia Elegance vehicle
- Rights to seven television projects
- 59% of the charter capital of LLC "Zolotaya Fishka" and funds deposited in a commercial bank account
Yuri Kot, currently residing in Moscow, is known for his pro-Russian views and collaboration with Russian media outlets. He consistently peddles anti-Ukrainian propaganda and is a member of organizations like the ‘Immortal Regiment of Ukraine’ and the ‘Committee to Save Ukraine’. Previously, in 2022, Kot was suspected of high treason.
