Since opening its doors in February 2026, the Fahs Medical Testing Services Center in Sharjah has welcomed more than 6,000 clients, according to data provided by the facility. Operating as the first smart center of its kind in the emirate, the facility combines medical testing and government administrative services under one roof to streamline customer procedures.
The facility is owned by Sharjah Asset Management, which serves as the investment arm of the Government of Sharjah. According to Rashid Bourhime, Executive Director of Investment at Sharjah Asset Management, the center delivers a unified experience tailored to individual and organizational needs.
“Since the launch of the center, we have been keen to provide services characterized by efficiency and ease of access, while continuing to develop work mechanisms in a way that enhances service quality and shortens time and effort for customers,” Bourhime stated. He added that the project aligns with the emirate’s broader goals for sustainable economic and social development.
Comprehensive Medical Examination Services
The center provides a complete slate of medical testing required for visa processing in the United Arab Emirates. According to center details, these offerings include medical fitness examinations and the issuance of official certificates necessary to complete visa applications.
Additional health screenings available at the facility cover pregnancy tests for domestic workers and other designated categories requiring such evaluations. The center also administers the first, second, and third doses of the hepatitis B vaccine where applicable, alongside chest X-ray examinations for the detection of tuberculosis.

The center also features expedited service options and a fast track, alongside a mobile medical unit designed to conduct screenings at specific off-site locations. Administrative support personnel coordinate appointments, manage workflow, and assist clients in completing government paperwork in accordance with official United Arab Emirates regulations.
