Why the road remains closed

Loburn Whiterock Rd is currently blocked to traffic. Senior Sergeant Wakelin stated the road will remain closed for “some time” while the Serious Crash Unit conducts a formal scene examination. This procedure is standard practice to gather evidence and document the site of a fatal incident. Local commuters should expect ongoing travel disruptions in the area until authorities clear the wreckage and finalize their preliminary assessment.
