The UPI’s Public Relations Head, Suhendra, confirmed the grim news, stating that the student is believed to have met her end after a fall from the second floor of the Gymnasium building. However, further details about the cause of the fall remain under investigation.
"After coordinating with UPI’s Occupational Health and Safety Unit (UPT K3) team, we confirmed that a UPI student indeed fell from the second floor of the Gymnasium building," Suhendra said in a statement.
The student’s body was subsequently transported to RS Sartika Asih in Bandung. The police are currently investigating the incident, but the background and circumstances leading to the fall remain unknown at this time.
