Subhead: Two entrances boarded up, residents still not allowed in to collect belongings
Residents of an apartment complex in Den Bosch have been unable to return home after a significant fire broke out on Tuesday evening. Both entrance doors to the complex on the Van Coehoornplein have been boarded up, with residents still not permitted inside, as confirmed by the father of one of the affected residents.
Bewareers from a private security firm are keeping an eye on the complex. However, it remains unclear when residents will be allowed back in, with the extent of the damage reportedly substantial.
The fire started on Tuesday evening, with the complex’s first-floor apartment at the rear erupting in flames. The ground floor houses various shops, all of which sustained no damage, according to the fire service.
