In a grim discovery, the lifeless body of a German diplomat was found in Islamabad on Tuesday. Thomas Feldner, serving as the Second Secretary at the Embassy of Germany in Pakistan, was discovered in his apartment located in the Diplomatic Enclave of the city.
Feldner, a seasoned diplomat, was last seen two days prior to his body being found. His colleagues at the German Embassy, noticing his absence from work, raised the alarm, which led to the grim discovery. "When we reached the location, we found the deceased in a state of decomposition, suggesting he had been dead for a couple of days," said a senior police official, speaking on condition of anonymity.
