Bulgaria‘s Caretaker Government Presents New Law to Ensure Public Finance Stability
The caretaker government has presented a special draft law today aimed at collecting revenues and allocating expenditures until the adoption of the annual budget plan and the budgets of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) and theDenominational Healthcare Fund (DHF). This move was announced by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev prior to today’s government meeting.
"Financial stability and sustainability of public finances are crucial for us. That’s why we are introducing this draft law to ensure the normal functioning and spending," said the Prime Minister.
In addition, the Cabinet will approve the allocation of BGN 2 million (approximately USD 1.1 million) for households affected by power outages. Over 20,000 households will benefit from this assistance, aiming to demonstrate the presence of the state.
