In this case, the Naval Security Force (Puspomal) has apprehended and designated three suspects.

First receiving information about the incident on Thursday (2/1) evening, Denih stated that the three suspected personnel, identified as Sertu AA, Sertu RH, and KLK BA, were stationed at Pondok Dayung Naval Base when they allegedly fell victim to the mobbing incident at the scene.

"The root cause of this incident stems from a vehicle purchasing dispute," Denih admitted, also acknowledging that one of the Navy personnel was responsible for the shooting that resulted in one fatality and another sustaining injuries.

"Currently, the three personnel are under investigation at Puspomal," Denih revealed, although he did not disclose the identities of the personnel suspected of being the shooters. He only mentioned that two of them belonged to the Armada I Special Forces Unit (Kopaska), while the other was from the KRI Bontang.
