Armed Suspects Arrested in Oslo City Center; Pistol‘s Authenticity Unconfirmed
OSLO — Oslo police have apprehended several individuals suspected of wielding a pistol in the city center on Saturday evening, but the authenticity of the weapon remains uncertain, according to operations leader Gabriel Langfeldt.
The police received a report of a suspected armed robbery around 5 PM and swiftly dispatched multiple units to the scene. The suspects were apprehended shortly after, and a pistol was recovered. However, it is yet to be confirmed whether an actual robbery occurred or what the suspects’ motivations were.
No injuries were reported during the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
