Honor 700 Series Introduces Rear Secondary Screens Across Three New Models
Honor has officially unveiled the design, color options, and primary specifications for the Honor 700 Series, featuring a distinct square secondary screen integrated into the rear camera module across all three models in the lineup, TIMES Indonesia reported. The series comprises the standard Honor 700, the Honor 700 Pro, and the Honor 700S, targeting the mid-range to premium smartphone markets in China.
ANTARA News reported that the devices are available in four color options: Blue Tone, Cold White, Clear Sky, and Pink Mist. On the front, all three variants feature a flat full display with symmetrical thin bezels and a punch-hole front camera. While Honor has not yet provided a detailed breakdown of all functions for the rear display, Carisinyal noted that the secondary screen is designed to show time, notifications, and act as a preview monitor for selfies taken with the main rear cameras.
Honor 700 lineup features upgraded processors and cameras
Performance hardware varies across the lineup, with leaks and official disclosures pointing to a generation leap in processing power. According to reports from Vietnam.vn citing industry leakster Digital Chat Station, the base Honor 700 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, while the higher-end Honor 700 Pro steps up to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.
Carisinyal and ANTARA News confirmed that the Honor 700 Pro serves as the flagship of the series, featuring a 6.57-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution, a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, and a massive 9,000 mAh battery. Both the standard and Pro models are also linked to a periscope telephoto camera setup that supports a 200 mm teleconverter accessory for extended optical zoom capabilities, according to reporting from Rakyat Bengkulu Online.
Models offer various memory configurations and pre-order options
Configuration options vary by model within the family. Carisinyal reported that the standard Honor 700 is offered in four memory variants pairing 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM with either 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage. The Honor 700S tier is available in two memory setups featuring 12 GB of RAM paired with either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, though its specific chipset and main display parameters remain officially unannounced.
All three models have successfully cleared 3C certification in China and are currently listed for online pre-orders through Honor’s official digital sales channels, as noted by Carisinyal. The broader rollout is widely expected to take place before the end of November 2026.
