The Honor X8e has surfaced on the manufacturer’s regional website in Azerbaijan, featuring a 7,700 mAh battery, a 108 MP main camera, and a Snapdragon 685 processor. This budget-focused device expands the existing Honor X8 product family, which already includes variations such as the Honor X8d and Honor X8c.
Honor X8e packs a 120 Hz display and Snapdragon chip
The Honor X8e builds upon the design framework of the Honor X7e Plus 4G, though it scales down the battery capacity from the larger 8,100 mAh cell found in that model. Built around a 6.87-inch TFT LCD panel, the display offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,020 nits under high-brightness mode. The resolution sits at 1,592 by 720 pixels.
Under the hood, the device relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 chipset, manufactured using a 6-nanometer production process. This processor pairs with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include support for 4G networks, dual Nano-SIM cards, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, and NFC capabilities.
Device features a 108-megapixel camera and AI button
Imaging duties are handled by a 108-megapixel rear camera sensor, complemented by a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device ships with MagicOS 10, which is based on Android 16. Honor includes a dedicated physical AI button on the hardware to launch applications and access integrated artificial intelligence tools directly.
For durability, the Honor X8e carries IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for resistance against dust and water ingress. The physical dimensions measure 8.3 millimeters in thickness, and the phone tips the scales at 218.5 grams. Color options at launch include Sunrise Orange, Desert Gold, and Velvet Black.

While the corporate Honor website omits pricing details for the new hardware, local retailers have begun listing the device. The Azerbaijani retailer Irshad prices the 6 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration at 819.99 AZN, which converts to approximately $482 USD.
