Young CSKA Footballer Stabbed: Anton Tолев Recovers in "Pirogov" Hospital
In a shocking turn of events, Anton Tolev, a teenage footballer from CSKA, was stabbed following a road incident during New Year’s Eve. The 17-year-old is currently recuperating at the "Pirogov" Hospital after sustaining a 15-centimeter laceration, which affected his lung.
Tolev and his companions had reportedly flagged down a speeding driver in their native Kostinbrod, who then became aggressive. The unidentified individual attacked the group, stabbing Tolev with a knife before local security guards intervened and rushed the injured teenager to the hospital.
The attacker was subsequently detained by authorities.
Tolev, primarily playing for CSKA’s third team under coach Rumomir Trifonov, has also featured in matches for the second team, led by Vladimir Manchev. The talented young striker was part of the "reds" team against Belgian side KRC Genk in the UEFA Youth League qualifiers.
CSKA and football fans alike are eagerly anticipating Tolev’s full recovery and return to the field.
