According to N12, security forces reported that the terrorist had been gathering aid from private merchants operating inside Gaza, transporting the goods for a client at the time of his capture. IDF soldiers operating inside the crossing seized the operative after uncovering his identity and specific role in Hamas.
Walla revealed that the suspect had formally applied to serve as a humanitarian aid driver—an application that the Shin Bet ultimately approved. Following his capture at the crossing, the operative was transferred to the Shin Bet for intensive questioning. In the wake of the operation, the Shin Bet declined to comment, and the IDF issued no public statement regarding the arrest.
