Popular Indonesian film director, Hanung Bramantyo, shared a glimpse of his Christmas Eve through his Instagram account. In a series of photos and videos, Bramantyo and his family were seen at the Vatican, awaiting the arrival of Pope Francis.
The director of films like "Ipar Adalah Maut" and "Cinta Tak Pernah Tepat Waktu" captivated his followers with the breathtaking view of St. Peter’s Basilica and the surrounding architecture, illuminated beautifully for the holidays. Despite the chilly temperature, which reached 0 degrees Celsius, the family seemed to be enjoying the experience.
In his caption, Bramantyo expressed his anticipation of the Pope’s appearance, which was unfortunately delayed until the following morning. He also noted the presence of many Indonesian Catholic pilgrims in the square, creating a lively and festive atmosphere.
"Waiting for Pope Francis at the Vatican on Christmas Eve. Pity it’s been postponed to tomorrow morning. Here, we’ve met a lot of Indonesians who are also praying," Bramantyo wrote.
