Metro Stabbing Incident Sparks Police Investigation, No Delays Reported

A stabbing incident occurred around 4:50 PM today, with witnesses reporting the victim being wounded in the upper body. Police spokespeople suggest the altercation may have stemmed from an argument or physical fight.

In response, law enforcement cordoned off a section of the platform, initially rerouting passengers to an alternate track. However, normal metro operation resumed shortly afterward, with the GVB (Gemeentevervoerbedrijf) reporting no delays due to the incident.

The investigation is currently underway, with forensic teams collecting evidence. Forensic investigators were seen photographing the scene, and police have stated they will be reviewing CCTV footage.

As of now, no suspects have been detained. The investigation was wrapped up at the scene by 6:30 PM, with barricades subsequently removed.
