According to ELEVATE, the newly announced Mondrian Al Marjan Island Beach Residences in Ras Al Khaimah introduces a master plan featuring architecture by Gensler, interiors by Bergman Design House, and hospitality management by Ennismore. Designed to reshape luxury living in the region, the project spans more than 5,570 square metres (60,000 square feet) of resident amenities, combining avant-garde design with the natural rhythms of the Arabian Gulf.
Architectural Vision and Bergman Design House Interiors
Drawing from the shifting colors and light of the ocean, Bergman Design House created an interior landscape that moves with the environment. According to Marie Soliman, Founder & Creative Director of Bergman Design House, the objective was to ensure nothing in the building feels fixed so that the spaces continually reveal themselves to residents. Gensler’s architectural framework incorporates sculptural forms and organic textures that reflect the local coastline.
Amenities and Experiential Spaces
The development integrates cultural infrastructure directly into daily living. According to Mark Eacott, Global Head of Design at Ennismore, the main lobby functions as a working ‘cultural gallery’ featuring rotating exhibitions by regional and international artists alongside digital installations. Additional amenities include an adults-only infinity Sky Pool perched more than 200 feet above the sea, a comprehensive fitness center with an outdoor training rig, and a dedicated contrast therapy suite.
Did You Know? The Mondrian Al Marjan Sky Lounge features a circular marble bar set against a wall of backlit glass discs, anchored by a sculptural pendant crafted from blown glass and bronze rings.
Residence Design and Beachfront Lifestyle
Residential options range from intelligent apartments offering coastal-meets-cosmopolitan color palettes to glass-wrapped penthouses featuring bespoke marble and private terraces. At ground level, the beachfront destination centers around the Filia restaurant, connecting checkerboard-tiled dining terraces, teal-lit infinity pools, and open sand areas framed by custom landscape lighting.
