British heavy metal icons Iron Maiden will bring their Run For Your Lives World Tour to Australia later this year.
Iron Maiden Announces Australian Tour with Megadeth
The band announced today, February 27, that they will play stadiums for the first time in both Melbourne and Sydney, as well as arenas in Adelaide and Brisbane. Megadeth will join them as special guests on the four-date run.
The tour kicks off November 11 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre, followed by shows at Melbourne’s AAMI Park (November 13), Sydney’s Allianz Stadium (November 15), and concluding November 18 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.
This Australian visit marks the band’s eighth trip to the country, having previously performed there in September 2024. According to TEG Dainty president Paul Dainty, “This will be Iron Maiden’s biggest tour of Australia ever.”
The announcement comes during a busy week for Iron Maiden. On Wednesday, the band received a nomination for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. Earlier in the week, Universal Pictures International unveiled Iron Maiden: Burning Ambition, a documentary tracing the band’s five-decade journey.
Formed in East London in 1975, Iron Maiden has sold over 100 million records and performed over 2,500 shows in 64 countries. Their album Senjutsu reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in September 2021, marking their highest charting album to date.
Tickets for the Australian shows travel on sale Friday, March 6.
