The JNTO advise, "Verantwoord reizen is belangrijker dan ooit" (Responsible travel has never been more important). Theyimplore visitors to consider the impact of concentrated tourism on local communities. By dispersing travelers, Japanese cities and towns can better accommodate and maintain their distinctive cultures and environments.
