In a surprising turn of events, former Indonesian president Joko Widodo (‘Jokowi’) and his family attended the soft opening of comedian Kiky Saputri’s new café in Solo, Central Java on Tuesday, 24 September 2024. Kiky, known for her comedic persona Komika Kiky Saputri, and her husband Muhammad Khairi, were delighted by the unexpected visit.
Kiky shared the news on her Instagram account, @kikysaputri, posting a photo of Jokowi and his family at her café – the first branch she has opened in Depok, West Java. "I can’t believe it, guys! I really didn’t expect President Jokowi and his family to visit my café," she captioned the photo.
Initially, Kiky thought only Kaesang Pangarep and Erina Gudono would attend, as she had previously invited them. However, Kaesang informed her that he would be coming with his family and even extended the invitation to Kahiyang Ayu, who resides in Medan, to join them.
