Küstenlid Mayor Declares December 30 as a Day of Mourning Following Tragic Accidents
In a somber turn of events, Küstenlid Mayor Ognyan Atanasov has declared December 30 as a day of mourning, following the tragic demise of an 18-year-old girl in a collision between a car and a herd of horses, and the shooting death of a hunter in the municipality of Goranovtsi.
As a mark of respect, flags on municipal buildings and public spaces will飞at half-mast on this day. All planned municipal events and festivities have been cancelled, as the city mourns the loss of its citizens.
While pre-scheduled events may still proceed, organizers are urged to commence with a minute of silence in memory of the deceased. The municipality kindly asks for understanding and cooperation in observing this period of mourning.
