Assault and Arrest
Two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old were rapidly arrested following the attack. They were subsequently charged with aggravated assault. The police investigation into the matter has now been concluded.
Grievous Bodily Harm and Endangerment
One of the three suspects has been formally charged with inflicting severe bodily harm, including a skull fracture and brain hemorrhage, and putting the victim’s life at risk. Police prosecutor Christine Lundstein, from Kongsvinger Police Station, confirmed these details to local media, Glåmdalen.

Initially, it was considered whether the other two suspects would face charges as accessories, but these cases have since been dropped. However, one of the two has been charged for assaulting the student prior to the violent incident.
Severe Injuries and Hospitalization
The school students were airlifted to Oslo University Hospital at Ullevål due to the severity of their injuries, which were assessed as life-threatening. The victim underwent extensive treatment.
As of now, no statement has been made by the primary suspect or his attorney, Benedict de Vibe, regarding the charge. A court date has yet to be set for the trial.
