Headline: Emergency Repairs Begin on Main Water Pipeline in Svishtov; Water Supply Disrupted

In a press statement, Svishtov’s mayor, Gencho Genchev, confirmed that emergency welding repairs have started on the damaged main water pipeline. The incident has led to the disruption of water supply in the region.
Technicians from the Veliko Tarnovo-based Water and Sewage Corporation (VK "Yovkovtsi") are already on-site, working tirelessly to resolve the issue. The damaged section of the pipeline is 60 centimeters long, and the water supply is expected to remain disrupted for the rest of the day.
To facilitate round-the-clock repairs, a specialized lighting unit has been deployed to ensure workers have a safe environment to operate in during the night. The mayor assured residents that the water supply should be restored by tomorrow.
As of now, the repair process is ongoing, and the situation is being closely monitored by local authorities. Residents are advised to make necessary arrangements to cope with the temporary disruption in their water supply.
