The man, subjected to a compulsory treatment order, had fled the healthcare institution and was subsequently declared at large.
Police managed to locate him at his mother’s apartment, where he threatened self-harm and resisted arrest before slipping out of the building. A specialized team, along with psychological support, was swiftly dispatched to apprehend the fugitive.
In a remarkable display of agility, the man scaled the face of the building, gaining access to his apartment via the balcony on the third floor. Law enforcement officials entered the apartment and successfully apprehended the escapee without any reported injuries or property damage.
Following the incident, the man was transferred to the custody of the "Protection" unit within the General Directorate for Combating Organized Crime to be transported back to the medical facility in Radnevo.
