Lebanon‘s General Security Urges Syrian Nationals: Plan Ahead for Departure Through Rafik Hariri International Airport

The Lebanese General Security’s Media Office has issued a statement, emphasizing the importance of Syrian nationals planning ahead for their departure through Rafik Hariri International Airport. The statement underscores that those wishing to leave must visit the Settlements Bureau at least 24 hours prior to their flight’s departure time, if their cases require settlement processing.

The new rule applies to flights departing between midnight and 8:00 AM the following day. The General Security Bureau has stressed the necessity for Syrian nationals to adhere to these procedures to ensure a smooth and legal departure process, aligning with the airport’s established procedures.
