LSU Gymnastics Primed for Senior Night Showdown Against Arkansas
BATON ROUGE, La. – The No. 2 LSU Gymnastics team (10-3-1, 4-3 SEC) will host No. 8 Arkansas (5-6-1, 2-4-1 SEC) in their regular season finale and senior night meet on Friday, March 13 at 7:30 p.m. CT inside the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. The meet will be broadcast on SEC Network+, with Lyn Rollins and Kaleigh Dickson Abboud providing commentary.
LSU’s Dominant History Against Arkansas
Historically, LSU has a strong record against Arkansas, boasting a 49-6-1 all-time advantage. At home, the Tigers are particularly formidable, holding a 9-1-0 record against the Razorbacks. While LSU fell to Arkansas on the road last year, they secured a victory the last time Arkansas visited the PMAC in 2024. The Tigers haven’t lost to Arkansas on their home turf since February 11, 2011, and have won four consecutive matchups in Baton Rouge.

Arkansas enters the competition ranked No. 8 nationally and consistently places within the top 15 on all events. Their current rankings include No. 5 on vault, No. 13 on bars, No. 6 on beam, and No. 9 on floor, with a season-high team score of 197.700.
Senior Night Celebrations and Fan Promotions
Friday’s meet is also Senior Night, where LSU will honor seven graduating gymnasts: Courtney Blackson, Chase Brock, Ashley Cowan, Emily Innes, Alexis Jeffrey, Tori Tatum, and Kathryn Weilbacher. The senior ceremony will take place on the floor following the competition. The first 1,000 fans will receive senior shirts as a giveaway.
Tigers’ Recent Successes and National Rankings
LSU matched their best score of the season last Sunday, achieving a 198.325 at No. 4 Florida, despite a narrow loss (198.450-198.325). This score represents LSU’s best road performance ever. The team showcased a season-best 49.700 on vault, the second-highest vault score in program history.
The Tigers currently hold the No. 2 position in the national rankings for the fifth consecutive week, with an NQS (National Qualifying Score) of 197.897. They are the only program in the country ranked in the top three on all four events: No. 1 on floor, No. 3 on bars and beam, and No. 2 on vault.
Individual Standouts
Sophomore Kailin Chio is currently ranked No. 1 in the nation in the all-around with an NQS of 39.760, ending UCLA’s Jordan Chiles’ eight-week reign at the top. Chio also holds the No. 1 ranking on beam and vault. Junior Amari Drayton and sophomore Kaliya Lincoln are also making significant contributions, ranking in the top 25 nationally on multiple events. Lincoln was recently named the SEC Specialist of the Week after achieving career-high scores on vault (9.975), beam (9.950), and floor (9.975) at Florida.

Kaliya Lincoln’s outstanding performance against Florida earned her the SEC Specialist of the Week award, the first of her career. She secured event titles on vault and floor with near-perfect scores.
Looking Ahead: SEC Championships
Following the regular season finale against Arkansas, LSU will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to compete in the 2026 SEC Gymnastics Championships on Saturday, March 21 inside the BOK Center.
