OSLO: T-Bahn Closure and Route Changes for Upgrades
Prepare for upcoming closures and reroutes in Oslo’s T-banen network, as maintenance and upgrade works kick off early next month. The turnover begins on the first upcoming Saturday, January 4.
"Ruter AS" has confirmed the temporary shutdown affecting several key stations, including Frognerseteren, Borgen, Nydalen, Sognsvann, and Stortinget, with Nationaltheatret and Majorstua also closed. This adjustment will see T-banen westbound reversing at Stortinget, with bus services picking up the slack.
Ruter has assured travelers of increased bus and tram offerings during the disruption. Plandirektør Snorre Lægran urges commuters to consult the latest information via the Ruter app to avoid inconvenience.
