Bowman’s career has blossomed on opera houses and Broadway stages across the country. She recently debuted as Gilda in Verdi’s “Rigoletto” with the Light Opera of New Jersey and is preparing for her next role as Myrtale in Massenet’s “Thais” with Opera Idaho. Despite her success on the national stage, Bowman expressed her excitement about performing for an East Idaho audience.
“I excitedly accepted the offer to debut with Maestro Thomas Heuser and the Idaho Falls Symphony because of their amazing choice of operatic repertoire,” Bowman said. Performing in front of family and friends in Pocatello and American Falls holds a special significance for her, offering a connection to the community that supported her throughout her career.

The concert will feature Bowman’s performance of the emotionally charged “Liebestod” from Wagner’s “Tristan und Isolde.” Audiences can similarly anticipate selections from Franz Lehár, Richard Rodgers, and Tchaikovsky’s “Romeo and Juliet (Fantasy Overture).” Bowman hopes the music will offer a respite from daily troubles, leaving attendees feeling uplifted.
