Breaking: Double Murder in Polanco: 72-Year-Old Man Found Dead, Another Body in Trunk

In a shocking turn of events, a 72-year-old man was found deceased in his car outside his home in the exclusive Polanco district of Mexico City’s Miguel Hidalgo alcaldía. The grim discovery, made by the victim’s sister, occurred just two blocks from the prestigious Auditorio Nacional on this Monday, December 23rd.

The sister had been trying to reach her brother for some time when she decided to visit his residence. Upon arriving, she found him brutally murdered in the garage, tied up and covered in blood. The scene turned even more gruesome when forensic experts from the Fiscalía General de Justicia de la CDMX discovered another body in the trunk of the same vehicle. The second victim, a 49-year-old man, is believed to be related to the first, although officials are still confirming the exact connection.

This ghastly double murder happened at the sprawling, multi-level home located at 53 Calle Tres Picos in Polanco Quinta Sección, positioned between Hegel and Lamartine streets, mere steps away from major thoroughfares such as Avenida Campos Elíseos and Avenida Rubén Darío.

The victim’s family had alerted the authorities, and paramedics rushed to the scene. However, the elderly man was already lifeless, and the cause of death is yet to be determined. The Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) CDMX promptly opened an investigation, and detectives are currently scrutinizing footage from nearby surveillance cameras to identify any suspects involved.

The Fiscalía General de Justicia de la CDMX has taken charge of the case and is determined to bring the perpetrators to justice. In the meantime, the tight-knit community of Polanco is left reeling from this heinous crime, wondering how such a dastardly act could occur in the heart of one of Mexico City’s most posh neighborhoods.
