A police officer from the Sør-Øst police district has been arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault against his partner, spanning several years, TV 2 reports. The man, who has pleaded not guilty, is accused of physically abusing his intimate partner during their relationship.
The suspect’s defense attorney, Heidi Reisvang, maintains her client’s innocence, telling TV 2 that he does not recognize himself in the charges. She also mentioned the significant strain the case has had on her client.
