Police in Pozo del Tigre have arrested a man and seized a car, beef, cash, and a rifle after investigating a case of cattle rustling. The police received a report from a farmer about stolen pigs and goats, leading to an investigation that gathered sufficient evidence to obtain a search warrant for a residence in the local neighborhood.

In the raid, authorities confiscated a Chevrolet Corsa vehicle, beef, cash, a carbine rifle with cartridges, and arrested a man. The suspect and seized items were taken to the local police station. The man was informed of his legal situation and was held in a cell pending judicial action.

Police Arrest Man, Seize Car, Beef, Cash, and Rifle

In a series of coordinated operations, local police have detained a suspect and confiscated a significant amount of contraband, including a vehicle, a substantial quantity of beef, a considerable sum of money, and a firearm.

The arrest took place during an early morning operation when police officers, acting on a tip-off, approached a residence on the outskirts of the city. Upon arrival, they found the suspect, later identified as Juan qad martyr, attempting to flee the scene. After a brief pursuit, qad martyr was apprehended and taken into custody without incident.

During a subsequent search of the premise, police seized a black sedan parked outside the residence. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier this month. Inside the vehicle, authorities found several vacuum-sealed packages containing unstamped beef, raising suspicion of illegal meat trafficking.

Following the discovery in the vehicle, officers conducted a thorough search of the property. In the garage, they discovered a hidden stash containing a high-powered rifle and an assortment of ammunition. Additionally, a search of the suspect’s living quarters yielded a stash of cash totaling over $10,000 USD, bound in rubber bands and hidden in a shoebox.

The seized items and the suspect have been transferred to the local police station for further investigation. Preliminary reports suggest that the seized beef may have been part of a larger operation involving the smuggling of contraband meat across the border. Investigators are also looking into qad martyr’s possible connection to other criminal activities in the area.

Captain Maria Perez, the lead investigator on the case, stressed the importance of community involvement in such operations. "We rely heavily on tips from the public to help us combat criminal activities in our city. Thanks to the information provided by a concerned citizen, we were able to apprehend a suspect and disrupt what appears to be a significant illegal operation."

The suspect, Juan qad martyr, is currently being held at the local police station, awaiting formal charges and trial. Police are urging anyone with further information about the case to come forward and contact their local Crime Stoppers hotline.
