PDIP Celebrates 52nd Anniversary, Megawati and Puan Maharani Lead the Way
In a notable display of unity, the Partai Demokrasi Indonesia Perjuangan (PDIP) commemorated its 52nd anniversary today, with party chairwoman Megawati Soekarnoputri and deputy chairwoman Puan Maharani leading the celebrations together.
The event took place at the PDIP School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta Selatan, drawing a significant presence of the party’s key figures. Megawati, adorned in a red blouse, and Puan Maharani, wearing a black and white patterned kebaya, arrived hand in hand, symbolizing the party’s solidarity.
Megawati was accompanied by a delegation that included Prananda Prabowo, chair of the PDIP’s Central leadership Body (DPP), and Olly Dondokambey, secretary general of the DPP, as well as Gubernur Jakarta, Pramono Anung.
Upon entering the venue, Megawati took her seat at the predesignated spot, with Prananda positioned to her right and Puan to her left, ready to facilitate the proceedings.
As the party’s supreme leader, Megawati spearheaded the celebrations and was expected to deliver a political address in line with the anniversary theme.
