Ruter Operates as Normal Despite Challenging Weather Conditions, With Route Modifications

Ruter confirms that operations are running as planned today, according to a press release. Despite significant local differences and challenging driving conditions in several areas, Ruter has implemented local adjustments to ensure service continuity.

Key modifications include:

  • Line 265: Now serves Ikea Slependen, with an additional bus operated with chains running around Nesøya due to its slippery and icy roads.

  • Line 1 (T-Banen): currently faces slippery tracks, particularly in higher elevations. Consequently, service is suspended between Skogen and Frognerseteren, with a maxitaxi service covering the affected area.

Several bus lines—23, 24, 70, 70E, 71, 72, 74, 75A, 75B, 75C, 76, 78A, 78B—are operating adjusted routes, resulting in a slightly reduced service today.

While there may be additional challenges throughout the day, Ruter assures that they will be addressed promptly, as is the standard practice on regular days.
