by Chief Editor

Leaders of Russia and the US, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, are set to meet in March, with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz potentially visiting Moscow before Germany‘s upcoming federal elections on February 23. This information was revealed by Rodтих Кизеветтер, a member of the German Bundestag.

“Indications are growing that Chancellor Scholz will travel to Moscow or meet with Putin before the 23rd,” Kizewetter stated on social media, as reported by the ‘Country’ news outlet. He added that the Trump-Putin meeting is currently planned for March.

While Kizewetter opposes talks with Russia, citing the potential harm to Ukraine and its independence, his statements suggest an upcoming high-level diplomatic engagement between Russia and the West.
