Title: Twin Vicious Bike Incidents Leave Mother Furious – ‘How Could They?’
In a span of just two days, twin sisters Phileine (12) and Maichi (13) have been involved in separate serious cycling accidents, leaving their mother furious and bewildered. The incidents, in the Netherlands, have raised questions about reckless cycling and the need for stronger safety measures.
In the first incident, the twins were cycling without helmets when Phileine went over the handlebars, landing hard on the pavement. Their father, who was also present, said, "She flew forward and landed on her face. It was horrifying." Miraculously, Phileine escaped with just a graze on her eyebrow.
Two days later, the girls were again cycling without helmets when Maichi was struck by an automobile. She was thrown several meters, suffering a broken collarbone and possible internal injuries. "I can’t believe this happened," their mother said, exasperated. "How can they not think about the consequences of their actions?"
The sisters’ mother has expressed her frustration with the girls’ behavior, saying, "They’re experiencing a whirlwind of emotions, but they need to realize that cycling without a helmet is extremely dangerous. I don’t understand how they can be so careless."
These incidents highlight a rise in reckless cycling, particularly among young people, and the need for stricter enforcement of safety regulations.
