The current week promises to be mild with periodic rain showers, according to Dr. Anjelika Ganchuk, the head of the numerical modeling and forecasting sector at the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center (Ukrhydrometcentre). While the western regions may experience snowfall due to lower temperatures expected over the weekend, a classic snowstorm is not on the radar just yet.
"We can expect a return to normal winter temperatures next week, but nothing extremely cold," Ganchuk said in an interview with Užanih.
