In Memoriam: Rosenborg Mourns the Loss of Valued Colleague Erlend Olsbø Berre
Rosenborg Ballklub has announced with profound sadness the passing of one of its own, beloved colleague Erlend Olsbø Berre, aged 36. The news was confirmed on the club’s official website on Monday.
Erlend’s journey with Rosenborg began in 2013 as a part-time employee at Trondheims-Ørn. He joined the club professionally in October 2018, just ahead of the opening of Lerkendal Stadion‘s Koteng Arena.
"Rosenborg has lost a mainstay," the club stated. "Erlend leaves a significant void in our organization and at Koteng Arena. We are grateful for everything he was and contributed to the club. A football coach, player, eternal optimist, cook, equipment manager, and an all-around multifaceted individual, Erlend will be deeply missed."
Dagbladet has reached out to Rosenborg’s media chief Jørgen Stenseth, who confirmed that next of kin have been informed regarding the public remembrance.
