Russia‘s Casualties in Ukraine: Mobile Forces Suffer Heavy Losses
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia has lost a staggering 98,641 mobilized soldiers between September 21, 2022, and October 31, 2024. This grim toll is based on Russian occupation data.
The greatest losses among mobilized troops were sustained by:
- Group of Forces "Center": 21,710 casualties
- Group of Forces "West": 20,155 casualties
- Group of Forces "East": 16,770 casualties
- Group of Forces "South": 16,465 casualties
- Group of Forces "Dniepr": 10,449 casualties
- Group of Forces in Zaporizhzhia region: 10,120 casualties
- Group of Forces "North": 2,972 casualties
Ukrainian intelligence notes that these figures do not include losses among Russian contractors, conscripts, mercenaries, and other regular formations.
