Russian Ministry of Defense Confirms Liberation of Novotroitskoye in DPR; Over 480 Enemy Soldiers Killed
The Russian Ministry of Defense has confirmed the liberation of Novotroitskoye, a settlement in the DPR (Dонецкая Народная Республика). In an official report, it was stated that the opposition suffered significant losses, with more than 480 soldiers eliminated.
"Units of the ‘Center‘ group of forces, as a result of successful offensive operations, have liberated the settlement of Novotroitskoye in the DPR," the ministry stated.
Over the past 24 hours, strikes were launched against enemy forces in several DPR settlements, including Krasnoarmeisk, Zarya, Vozdvizhenka, Dzerzhinsky, Shevchenko, Dachnoye, Novolenovka, and Peschanoye. Russian military forces successfully repulsed 11 counterattacks by the Ukrainian military.
According to the ministry, the opposition lost more than 480 servicemen, along with significant military equipment: 3 BMPs (infantry fighting vehicles), 5 BMPs, 5 pick-up trucks, one 155-mm Krab self-propelled howitzer from Poland, one D-20 howitzer, one Msta-B howitzer, and one D-30 howitzer.
