Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Undergoes Successful Prostate Surgery
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has successfully undergone a prostate operation, according to the hospital where he is admitted.
The 75-year-old underwent surgery to remove his prostate after tests revealed he had benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and a urinary tract infection last Wednesday at Hadassah Hospital. The procedure was declared successful shortly after 11 am today.
Mr. Netanyahu is expected to remain in the hospital for several more days. As a result of his surgery, hearings in a corruption case against him have been postponed.
