Samsung has launched the M75H, a new line of entry-level Smart TVs designed to democratize Mini LED technology in the Brazilian market. Positioned between the basic Crystal HD and traditional QLED lines, the M75H aims to offer high contrast and deep blacks at a more accessible price point, competing directly with intermediate rivals such as the TCL P7L.
The M75H is available in several sizes, including 50, 55, 65, 75, and 85 inches, with the 50-inch version starting at approximately R$ 3,000. To achieve this pricing, Samsung implemented specific cost reductions in processing, audio, and housing. Notably, the M75H removes the Quantum Dot color layer found in QLED and Neo QLED models, which may result in colors appearing slightly “washed out” in certain scenarios.
Design and Hardware
The M75H features a “MetalStream” design, utilizing a matte black metal structure with a striated texture on the rear. While the front maintains thin bezels on three sides for immersion, the chassis is thicker than the metallic bodies of Neo QLEDs and shares the same dimensions as the Crystal UHD 8500H. For instance, the 65-inch model measures 144 cm wide, 83 cm high, and just over 7 cm deep, weighing around 14 kg.
Connectivity includes two rear-facing HDMI ports and one LAN port, with an additional HDMI, USB, and antenna port located on the side. The TV is supported by two rigid plastic feet, though it also supports standard VESA wall mounting. To further reduce costs, the included remote control functions on batteries and lacks the solar charging technology found in SolarCell remotes.
Image Quality and Performance
The primary feature of the M75H is its Mini LED illumination, which provides more controlled light than conventional TVs. This results in more uniform images—particularly useful for sports—and deeper blacks compared to traditional QLEDs or entry-level models. Samsung officially lists “Supreme Mini LED Dimming” as a feature, although some independent analyses suggest the lighting zone control differs from premium Mini LED televisions.
The device features a 4K panel with a 60 Hz refresh rate, providing fluidity for series and movies rather than high-frame-rate gaming. It also includes the Gaming Hub and support for Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Tizen 2026 and Vision AI
The TV runs on the Tizen 2026 operating system, which introduces a redesigned menu moved from the left side to the top of the screen, featuring tabs for "Games," "Apps," and "Discover."
Integration with artificial intelligence is handled via “Vision AI,” which allows for more assertive searches and connectivity with AI tools such as Copilot, Perplexity, and Bixby integrated with Gemini. The remote control includes a dedicated physical button to access these Vision AI functions.
