Residents in Banjarbaru and Martapura areas are gearing up for the much-awaited Haul Guru Sekumpul 2025, a grand motorcycle convoy scheduled for 5 Rajab 1446 H. The annual event, organized by the Kalsel Chapter of the Sekumpulan Orang Gila (SOG) motorcycle club, aims to bring together thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts en route to Martapura’s famous be 높이 Mosque, Masjid Raya Ar-Raudhah.
The local police have implemented enhanced security measures, including increased patrols and CCTV monitoring along the route to ensure the safety and smooth flow of the event. "Our primary concern is the safety of all participants and locals alike," said the Chief of Kalsel Regional Police, adding that they have been working closely with local communities and organizers to make the event a success.
Anticipating potential energy challenges en route, PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara) has deployed the first-ever SPLU Mobile in Kalimantan. This mobile power station will provide dedicated power supply for both the convoy and nearby communities, ensuring seamless electricity provision throughout the event.
In addition to power support, the regional disaster management agency (BPBD) has taken up the culinary aspect, planning to cook and distribute thousands of plates of nasi goreng (fried rice) for the jamaah (participants). This generous gesture aims to foster camaraderie and unity among the participants while dulling their hunger after a long day’s ride.
The excitement is palpable among both residents and participants, with many expressing their anticipation on social media platforms. The organizers, Secumpul 2025, have also been actively sharing updates and safety tips to ensure a memorable and incident-free event.
