A Horrific Tale: Georgia Couple Sentenced to 100 Years for Abusing Adopted Sons
In a chilling turn of events, a gay couple from Atlanta, Georgia, William and Zachary Zulock, aged 34 and 36 respectively, have been sentenced to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole. The couple was found guilty of sexually abusing their two adopted sons, aged 10 and 12.
According to the Walton County District Attorney’s office, the couple created a "house of horrors," placing their extreme desires above the well-being of their children. The Zulocks adopted the boys through a Christian agency, but instead of providing a loving home, they subjected them to regular sexual abuse, even filming the acts to produce child pornography.
Zachary, a bank employee, and William, an government sector worker, used Snapchat to share their gruesome acts with a friend, sending a message that read, "I’m going to f**k my son tonight, keep an eye out," accompanied by images of the abuse.
The couple’s heinous crimes came to light in 2022 when authorities received a tip about a person possibly downloading child sexual abuse material. The subsequent investigation uncovered the shocking truth, leading to the Zulocks’ arrest and conviction.
This devastating case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of timely intervention and the decoy effect of deceptive facades. As the world becomes more interconnected, so too does the responsibility to protect our most vulnerable, especially those in trusted environments like adoptive homes.
