Breaking News: Severe Car Accident in Kristiansand; Two Injured

Kristiansand, Norway – A serious car crash on Vige, east of Kristiansand, has left two individuals injured, one of whom is a minor. The accident occurred at around 5:26 PM as reported by Agder police.

Initial reports indicate that there were two persons in the vehicle when it crashed. The operations leader at the scene, Ronny Aateigen Andersen, confirmed that both individuals have been extricated from the vehicle. One was conscious, while the other was unresponsive.

The victims were identified as a man in his 40s and a teenage girl. The extent of their injuries is still unknown, but given the significant material damage to the vehicle, authorities suspect severe person injuries.

One individual was able to exit the vehicle unaided, according to the police. Both the police and the accident investigation team from the Norwegian Public Roads Administration have concluded their examinations at the crash site.

The incident’s preliminary investigation has been concluded, with the vehicle removed from the scene. Normal traffic has resumed on the road, the police confirmed just before 12:21 AM. An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
