Mexicana Aims to Transport 382,000 Passengers in 2024
Mexicana de Aviación, by its first year of operations, expects to have transported 282,000 passengers, as announced by Leobardo Ávila Bojórquez, the airline’s director general. This ambitious goal comes on the heels of a successful start-up phase, where Mexicana has already achieved an impressive 7,217 flights, totaling 9,367 hours and covering over 56 million kilometers.
To make this feat possible, Mexicana is leveraging competitive pricing, offering rates that are 20 percent lower than its market counterparts. This customer-focused strategy has attracted a significant number of passengers, with Mexicana exceeding its initial targets.
During the summer, the airline transported over 43,000 passengers, surpassing its anticipated numbers for the season. As it approaches its anniversary in December, Mexicana is confident in surpassing the 52,000 passenger mark, aiming to reunite families and cater to travelers across various destinations.
Bojórquez expressed his excitement about surpassing these milestones, attributing the success to Mexicana’s commitment to quality, affordability, and customer care. As the airline continues to grow and expand its reach, it remains dedicated to providing Mexican travelers with accessible and reliable air transport options.
