In a chilling turn of events, a 21-year-old woman is suspected of murdering her own 3-year-old brother in Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan. The heart-wrenching incident occurred while their parents were out selling durian.

The horrendous crime transpired on the evening of Wednesday, December 26, 2024, in the family’s residence located within a palm oil plantation workers’ housing complex. The victim, MF, was left in the care of his elder sister, KK, when their parents stepped out for work.

Tragedy struck when the parents returned home to find blood on the floor and their youngest child missing. They promptly reported the matter to the company’s security personnel, who alerted the Kendawangan Police Station.

After hours of interrogation, KK admitted to disposing of her brother’s body but provided no specific location. Following an intensive search, the toddler’s remains were discovered in a nearby waste disposal site, wrapped in a bag and with his head severed from the body, around 1:30 AM the following day.

The accused has since been taken into custody for further questioning, while the victim’s body has been transported to the Manis Mata District Health Center for an autopsy. This brutal act of sibling violence has left the local community shaken and seeking answers.
