Stunning Display of Force: Russian Special Forces Neutralize North Korean Military Group in Kursk Region

Ukraine‘s Special Forces Neutralize North Korean Troops in Kurgan Region

Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces (SSO) have successfully neutralized a group of North Korean soldiers in the Kurgan region, according to recent reports. The operation, which took place during a special mission, resulted in the elimination of five enemy combatants in a firefight, while another eight were taken out using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

During the post-battle inspection of the fallen soldiers and their equipment, SSO discovered items that suggested one of the deceased was an officer. These items included:

  • A rifle equipped with a collimator sight
  • A Chinese-Russian "Arzamas" radio station
  • A drone detector
  • An identification card distinct from a regular military ID

In addition to these items, a letter addressed to the party was found among the North Korean soldier’s belongings.

The operation in the Kurgan region began in early August 2024. Initially, Western media reported that Ukrainian forces had lost control of over 40% of the territory they had previously occupied. However, recent developments hint at a shift in the tide, with the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launching counterattacks against Russian forces on multiple fronts.

Meanwhile, the Special Operations Forces have showcased their activities in the region, demonstrating their operational capabilities.
