A violent incident near Holland Park in Surrey has resulted in one death at the scene and the subsequent death of a suspect following a confrontation with law enforcement.

On Friday at approximately 1 p.m., the Surrey Police Service (SPS) responded to a report of an assault at a building near Holland Park. Upon arrival, officers discovered two victims suffering from stab wounds. SPS members and BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) administered emergency medical interventions to both victims. According to police, one victim died at the scene, while the other remains in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, who had fled the scene, was located nearby. The SPS reported that a confrontation took place between officers and the suspect, during which police fired their weapons. The suspect sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
