General Hospital star Tabyana Ali released her official music video for the track “PRAY” across all streaming platforms, as soaps.sheknows.com reported. The video opening features a message from the actress explaining the emotional weight of walking away from a relationship to protect her own boundaries.
Technical Delays Pushed the Video Premiere Back
The visual release experienced a brief scheduling setback before its public debut. Soap Opera News reported that the video was originally scheduled to drop on September 25, but unexpected technical delays pushed the premiere back by a few days. The project features actor Daterion Rogers appearing alongside Ali in the narrative visual. Ali co-directed the project alongside Haley Bri Powell, who also served as Director of Photography and Editor. The behind-the-scenes crew included Notlim Taylor, Byron Morse, Jules Howard, along with Production Assistants Jaden Isaiah Betts and Corina Cruz, with makeup provided by General Hospital’s own Priscilla Castro-Preciado, according to Soap Opera News.
Colleagues and Viewers Responded on Social Media
Daytime colleagues and viewers responded quickly to the release on social media. Cameron Mathison, who plays Drew on General Hospital, left a comment to applaud Ali, while fan Robin Plate described the actress as stunning and beautiful in the visual, according to soaps.sheknows.com. The song itself previously arrived on streaming services a few weeks ahead of the music video premiere, tying into Ali’s real-world music career running parallel to her character Trina Robinson’s ongoing musical storyline on the ABC soap opera alongside Gio Palmieri, as noted by Soap Opera News.
